Sport fishing parties come to Costa Rica year round. They come to the Pacific coast for Marlin during the months of May, June, and October through February. Sailfish are most easily hooked from November to May. From May to October, fishermen come for mahimahi, roosterfish, snapper and yellowfin tuna are most abundant.
